Polyester Powder Coatings
Industrial polyester powders have better resistance to UV radiation, compared to Pure Epoxy and Epoxy Polyester powder coatings. They maintain a good level of gloss and shade, and they are suitable for outdoor and indoor use. They have great resistance to abrasion. They are available in a wide range of shades and textures and are the main choice for the majority of industrial applications.
Epoxy Polyester Powder Coatings
Epoxy Polyester powders are based on a hybrid system that combines several of the advantages of Polyester and Pure Epoxy systems. They offer coated surfaces with excellent decorative appearance while they have greater resistance to sunlight compared to Pure Epoxy powders. Ideal choice for indoor applications, where the appearance and protection of the object is a priority.
Pure Epoxy Powder Coatings
Pure Epoxy powders have a very high chemical resistance, and resistance to abrasion and corrosion, protecting the coated objects. Their resistance to UV radiation is limited and they are applied to coated objects that are not exposed to external weathering conditions.
Epoxy primers are based on a special Pure-Epoxy system, that combines excellent adhesion with high chemical resistance, to offer maximum corrosion protection, when used in the proper coating systems. Pure Epoxy Primer
E20/PR is a low bake epoxy anticorrosive primer, based on special epoxy resins and hardeners, in order to provide maximum anticorrosive protection.
E20/PR provides film with increased chemical and corrosion resistance. When used as primer in an anticorrosive system, provides corrosion protection even under aggressive environments C5 according to ISO 12944-2 (2017).
E20/PR is approved from Qualisteelcoat and QIB as system ST2, with all Neokem Qualicoat Class1 approved topcoats, for corrosivity category C4H. As system HD2, with all Neokem Qualicoat Class1 approved topcoats, it is approved for corrosivity category C5H. Qualisteelcoat Approvals: PE-0079, PE-0080, PE-0087. QIB approvals: QIB-0034, QIB-0035, QIB-0041.

Functional Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer Powder Coatings
E20/ZR is a zinc rich epoxy anticorrosive primer, based on special epoxy resins and hardeners. E20/ZR contains high amount of zinc particles, especially selected for their purity, size, and shape, in order to provide maximum anticorrosive protection.
E20/ZR is used as primer in an anticorrosive system, providing long term corrosion protection.

According to EN ISO 12944 part-1, durability (lifetime that fixes the time until the steel parts must undergo a first major maintenance painting) is expressed in terms of three ranges:
Low (L) 2 to 5 years
Medium (M) 5 to 15 years
High (H) 15 to 25 years
Very High more than 25 years
According to EN ISO 12944 part 1: << the durability range is not a “guarantee time”. Durability is a technical consideration that can help the owner set up a maintenance program. A guaranteed time is a consideration that is the legal subject of clauses in the administrative part of the contract. The guaranteed time is usually shorter than the durability range. There are no rules that link the two periods of time.
