NEOKEM participates as a Silver Sponsor at ESO 2026, which will take place on May 13, 2026, at the Athens Concert Hall.
This year’s event, under the central theme “Negotiation, not Compromise. Design as a Dialogue between Earth, Technology, and Man”, brings together diverse perspectives, experiences and design approaches from Greece and abroad, highlighting architecture as a continuous process of balance between place, technology and human experience.
The conference features prominent representatives of the contemporary architectural scene. From Greece, Bobotis+Bobotis Architects and dePlot Architects explore design through the relationship between the city, technology and sustainability, while Eleni Tsigarida (Etsi Architects) and Maria Deda (Deda & Architects) focus on the connection between space, memory, landscape and everyday life.
At an international level, Winy Maas (MVRDV), Beat Huesler (Oppenheim Architecture) and Caroline Bos (UNStudio) present diverse methodologies that investigate the relationship between architecture, technology and social systems, through projects and research-driven approaches with a strong contemporary footprint.
A highlight of the program is the roundtable discussion dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Takis Zenetos, shedding light on the work and thinking of a visionary architect who approached architecture early on as a field of continuous evolution and synthesis.
At the same time, the Archisearch Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented, recognizing individuals who have made a significant contribution to architecture and design in Greece.
Within a setting where different scales, ideas and approaches coexist, ESO 2026 operates as a platform for exchange — where theory meets practice.
NEOKEM takes part in this event as part of this ongoing dialogue, closely following developments and maintaining an active connection with the architectural community and the evolving landscape of design.
